Young Adults - Sandwich Making
 

On May 16, Assumption's Young Adults prepared bag lunches for the homeless and needy. AYA takes part in a number of service, social, and spiritual activities during the year. A Garden Party is planned for Thursday July 16. To get on their mailing list, email assumptionaya@gmail.com

Funeral arrangements for Fr. John Pawlikowski, O.S.M., Professor Emeritus of Social Ethics at Catholic Theological Union and a long-time member of the Servite Community at Assumption:

Visitation: Thursday July 9 from 5:00 to 8:00pm and Friday July 10 from 9:00am to 10:00am at Assumption

Funeral Mass: Friday July 10 at 10:00am at Assumption
 
Plenary Indulgence
 

2026 marks the 300th anniversary of the canonization of St. Peregrine, the fourteenth century Servite Friar known as The Cancer Saint. During the Jubilee Year, pilgrims may obtain a plenary indulgence by visiting a Servite church or shrine (like Assumption), spending time in Eucharistic Adoration, saying the Our Father and the creed, and invoking the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Peregrine.
