Donate a Turkey - November 24 | |
Would you be interested in helping a family have a happier Thanksgiving? Our Lady of the Angels Mission on the West Side is in need of frozen turkeys and hams for needy families. The Men's Group is coordinating a Turkey Drop to help meet this need. Bring a frozen turkey or ham to Mass on Sunday, November 24. Drivers will be parked in front of church to receive the turkeys and rush them to Our Lady of the Angels. Bring your birds to the 7:30, 9:00, 10:30 or 12:15 Mass. Advent Bible Study | |
The holiday season will soon be upon us. The pace of life will accelerate. Wedged between Thanksgiving and Christmas is the marvelous season of ADVENT, an opportunity to slow down and reflect on how to be more open to the coming of Christ. One way to truly enter into the spirit of Advent is to join the Bible Study, which will focus on the Sunday Scriptures of Advent. The group will meet on four Monday evenings from 6:00 - 7:15, beginning November 25. Email beth.schuman@gmail.com to register. |
