ACTION FOR THE POOR

Pope Francis has proclaimed November 18 the World Day of the Poor. As a way of expressing our concern for the poor and the marginalized, Assumption’s Social Justice Committee will provide us with an opportunity to sign letters to public officials that reflect concerns expressed by the US Conference of Catholic Bishops about housing, incarceration, immigration, and respect for life. This activity will take place in the Parish Hall after all Masses. Look for more information on our Web site as the date approaches.
