Assumption's annual Homecoming Celebration and Picnic took place this year on Sunday, August 9. It began with a special mass at 12:15 followed by a picnic under a tent on Illinois Street. While we were threatened by rain earlier, and it finally did rain around 4pm, the event was a success... as usual.
